Hi, I’m Michael Blanchard

I’ve been privileged to have worked for some great organizations over the years. This program, “The Practical Project Manager” is my way of giving back and promoting the evolution of the IT Project Management discipline.

Growing up as the oldest sibling in a large military family (four brothers and one sister) taught me some extremely important skills. Communications, learning to keep the peace, having to make new friends every couple of years. Logistics, because we were moving every couple of years. Preception, always being aware of my new environment. All of these skills are instrumental in managing. My career has been diverse and packed with successes and failures.
